Our pub is a hidden gem in the picturesque village of Charlwood, close to the Norman church of St Nicholas c. 1080. It is very popular with both locals and commuters from Gatwick airport, however, you would never guess that - the pub and village are quiet and peaceful! We have a reasonably good sized beer garden to the side of the pub that is mostly paved but has a grassed section to the rear. It is a fantastic place to chill out in the summer and enjoy the sun! The Half Moon Inn and Country Lodge is pleasantly situated in the small village of Mudford just 2 miles from Yeovil and Penmill train station. The pub has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the original rustic nature and surroundings of the 17th Century Inn, creating a special atmosphere. We are closed Christmas day and Boxing day.
